This week we discussed coding and implementing it into the elementary classroom. We explore several different websites and tried tutorials within each app/website. For the most part, the tutorials were simple to follow but we agreed that some websites may be better for older children who have previous experience coding. As someone who is not the best with technology, I found coding to be very difficult and I had trouble understanding what was going on. I did not like the program grasshopper as it was a bit too complicated for me. Scratch was a bit easier and if I have more time I would like to explore scratch jr. The website that I have liked the most so far is  https://code.org/. It was simple and fun to use! Although I am not the best with coding I think it would be good to learn more about it so I could incorporate it into my future classrooms. Coding is beneficial for students because it teaches problem-solving, computational thinking, and it can be really fun.

I have included a screen recording of the short and simple dance code I made.
