The videos I followed were an 11 minute morning yoga practice ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEEsdXn8oG8) and meditation for self-love (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqnWMPuyT0g), both were by Yoga with Adriene.
This morning I woke up feeling tired and groggy, with an overall feeling of being unmotivated to get out of bed. Despite how much I wanted to stay in bed I forced myself to get up and get the day started. I began with the wake-up yoga video, which I later realized was not exactly for beginners. I tried my best to follow along but it was challenging and I felt my muscles starting to get sore.
After the yoga video, I still was not in the mindset to do school work so I decided to do another video. I chose to do a self-love meditation exercise. This video focused on breathing and manifesting positive emotions. I found myself feeling calmer and energized after completing the video. I usually do not take the time out of my day to reflect and just breathe so, it was a refreshing way to get myself to wake up and be ready for the day.
